November 20, 2022: Save the Date!

This year, we are going to perform works that were recorded the Cleveland Symphonic Winds that was founded and conducted by Frederick Fennell, founder of the Eastman Wind Ensemble and Cleveland native, along with works he might have programmed in 2022-23. The performance is scheduled for Sunday, November 20, 2022 at 4 PM in Waetjen Auditorium. The CSU Symphonic Wind Ensemble will perform on the first half of the concert.

For this first concert of the season, we will perform Sousa's Black Horse Troop, Holst's Second Suite in F, Richard Franko Goldman's transcription of Bach's Fantasia in G, and Charles Mackerras' arrangement of Arthur Sullivan's Pineapple Poll. Gary Hill, former Director of Bands at Arizona State University will conduct the ensemble on Holst's Second Suite.

Parking will be available in the CSU Central Garage, which can be accessed via E. 21st Street. If you cannot join us downtown, the concert will be livestreamed at facebook.com/ClevelandStateMusic..
